Eagle Creek Country Club was humming Thursday evening, December 6th as business owner members and guests of East Naples Merchants Association met for an evening of networking and Christmas festivities over a delicious buffet dinner.
Laura Hill, Marketing Manager of the country club, welcomed the ENMA members to the event, spoke about the golf course and non-resident golf memberships available, and drew the winning ticket for the first door prize of the evening; a round of golf for a foursome at the gorgeous Eagle Creek golf course.

Tom Drummond, Board Vice President, announced that Board President Sandra Simmons will be stepping down from the Board of Directors after 4 years of service, that Board member Al Wagner will be stepping up to become President, and that Dennis Slabaugh had been elected to the Board of Directors.
Outgoing President, Sandra Simmons, acknowledged each of the Board members and said, “It has been an honor or serve the ENMA membership these past 4 years, and a privilege to work with my fellow Board members; we have a great team leading the association and I am sure that they will have many fresh ideas to implement to take the association to the next level. I will continue to be a member of the association, and while I will be traveling extensively over the coming year, I will look forward to seeing you at the monthly meetings when I am in town.”

The January networking event will be at Fullers Funeral Home in their Community Social Room at 4735 Tamiami Trail E., Naples, FL 34112 where all attendees will network over appetizers. Plus our beloved County Commissioner, Donna Fiala, will be there with city planning expert Mark Strain to give their annual update on what is happening in East Naples. Last January this was a standing room only event, so book early as seating is limited and we fill up early for this popular event. The regular meeting fee will be maintained at $10 per person for members and $20 per person for non-members.
